Footprints Missions
Footprints Missions is actively involved in various initiatives in Sierra Leone, primarily focusing on the ongoing development and improvement of the orphanage. This includes enhancing living conditions, providing essential resources for the children, and implementing educational programs and vocational training to empower the youth.
In addition to our work with the orphanage, Footprints Missions collaborates closely with the Garden City Healthcare Clinic. Together, we aim to enhance healthcare access and services in the community. Through these efforts, Footprints Missions seeks to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in Sierra Leone.
4th Children’s Housing Building
With the expansion of housing at the Footprints Missions Orphanage, we will provide 12 more orphaned children from the Sierra Leone community with their own beds, three nourishing meals a day, education, life skills training, and a strong foundation in Biblical teachings. Above all, these children will come to recognize their worth and value as cherished children of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Extra-Large Vehicle Needed for Transportation
Every day, children from the orphanage embark on a journey of up to 3 miles to reach their school. Additionally, the roads in Sierra Leone are incredibly challenging, even for the toughest vehicles. These precious children deserve a safe and reliable mode of transportation that can make their daily journeys easier and more secure. By coming together to support the orphanage’s need for dependable transportation, we can allow these inspiring children to focus on their education and futures. Your contribution can be the key to unlocking a better tomorrow for them!
Greenhouse for Fruits & Vegetables
One of our key priorities is to create a sustainable solution for providing nutritious meals to the children at the orphanage. By implementing a greenhouse project, we can establish a self-sufficient source of fresh fruits and vegetables right on-site.
This initiative will not only enhance the quality of their diet, ensuring access to fresh produce daily, but it will also engage the children in hands-on gardening experiences, instilling responsibility and a greater appreciation for nutrition.
Playground for the Children
We’d love to build a playground at Footprints Orphanage so the children can experience the fun and excitement of having a place to play together. Most of them have never seen a playground before, so having one would open a new world of fun and imagination. It would help them learn to share, build confidence, and make friends while simply being kids. More than just a place to play, it would bring laughter, healing, a sense of belonging, and a spark of hope to these children.
